Every December, he would press his nose against the frosty window and whisper,”Santa, are you coming this year?”

His grandmother, a kind woman with silver hair and warm eyes, would smile and say, “Santa is always watching, my dear. He sees every kind deed, every gentle word, and every warm hug.”

“But how does he do it?” Oliver asked one evening, wrapped in a fluffy blanket. “How does one man visit every house in the whole wide world in just one night?”

Grandmother chuckled softly. “Would you like to hear the legend?”

The Story Begins

“Long, long ago, in a land far to the north, there lived a jolly man named Nicholas. He had a big round belly, a beard as white as fresh snow, and the warmest laugh you could ever imagine —Ho ho ho!”

“Nicholas loved children. He would leave little bags of gold coins on their windowsills, slip toys under their doors, and fill their stockings with sweets. Nobody knew it was him — he always came quietly, like a whisper in the night.”

Oliver’s eyes grew wide. “Was he magic?”

“In a way, yes,” Grandmother said. “His kindness was so great that it became magic. The more he gave, the stronger he became. Soon, he could fly! A team of reindeer came to help him — Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, and Blitzen.”

“And Rudolph?” Oliver asked quickly.

Grandmother laughed. “Oh yes — Rudolph came later. He had a nose that glowed bright red, and on a foggy Christmas Eve, that little nose saved the whole night!”

The Little Workshop

“Over time, Nicholas built a cozy workshop at the North Pole, surrounded by twinkling stars and dancing northern lights. Little elves helped him make toys — wooden trains, teddy bears, dolls with curly hair, and puzzles that sparkled.”

“Every toy was made with love,” Grandmother whispered. “That’s the secret, you see. It’s not the toy itself that makes children happy — it’s the love wrapped inside.”

Oliver thought about this for a moment. Then he smiled. “Like when you bake cookies for me, and I know you put extra chocolate chips because you love me?”

“Exactly like that,” Grandmother said, kissing his forehead.

The Night Before Christmas

That night, Oliver could barely sleep. He tiptoed to the window and looked up at the starry sky.

And then — he saw it.

A tiny sparkle, far above the rooftops, moving slowly across the sky. It looked like a star that had decided to go for a walk.

Oliver held his breath.

The sparkle grew brighter, and he could almost hear the faint jingle of bells carried by the cold winter wind.
Jingle, jingle, jingle…

“Grandma!” he whispered, running back to her room. “I think I saw him!”

Grandmother smiled sleepily. “Did you now?”

“Yes! A little light, moving across the sky!”

“Then maybe,” she said, “the legend is true after all.”

The Real Magic

The next morning, Oliver ran downstairs. There, beneath the Christmas tree, sat a beautifully wrapped present with a tag that read:
“For Oliver — because you are kind, brave, and full of love.”

He opened it carefully. Inside was a small wooden reindeer, hand-carved and painted with the softest colors.

Oliver hugged it tightly.

“Grandma,” he said, “I think Santa knows exactly what every child needs.”

Grandmother sat beside him and said, “The real magic of Santa isn’t the presents, my dear. It’s the feeling of being loved, even when you can’t see who’s loving you. It’s the belief that somewhere out there, someone is thinking of you with kindness.”

Oliver looked at the little wooden reindeer and whispered, “Thank you, Santa.”

And somewhere, far away at the North Pole, a jolly old man in a red suit smiled, adjusted his spectacles, and said,
“Ho ho ho — you’re very welcome, Oliver.”

The End

And so, the legend of Santa Claus lives on — not just in presents and reindeer, but in every act of kindness, every warm hug, and every child who believes.

Because as long as there is love in the world, Santa will never disappear.

He’ll always be there — watching, smiling, and whispering through the winter wind:
“Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.”

Now close your eyes, little one. Perhaps tonight, Santa will visit you too.

[15
21,18
post-874","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-children","tag-children","tag-story
["GET
