He stood in the hallway, snow melting from his coat, and looked around the way people look at places they used to know.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u201cNice home,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">\u201cIt\u2019s fine,\u201d James replied.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">He led the man to the kitchen, poured him a mug of coffee, and set it on the table. He wanted to say that was nonsense, that a man does not appear out of a storm with a box and a story that fits too well. The mug was washed and set beside the sink.
