At the end of Sunshine Valley, there is a forest of oak trees covered with golden fallen leaves. There is a little chicken named Pip living in the forest. Pip has a fluffy yellow fur like a dandelion, and he always bounces around like a bouncing ball when walking.

One evening, the sun rolled slowly towards the hill like a ripe orange. Pip chased a glowing firefly in the grass and unknowingly ran away.

Oh, “Pip stopped and tilted his furry little head,” where is my home

At this moment, a rustling sound came from the bushes. A red fox with a tail like a big broom crawled out. His name is Felix, wearing a pair of small glasses made of acorn shells and a scarf made of hay around his neck.

Pip was so scared that he took two steps back, his wings tightly pressed against his body.

But Felix did not show his sharp teeth. Instead, he took out a shiny wild berry from his pocket and gently placed it on the leaf in front of Pip.

Good evening, little fluffy ball, “Felix’s voice was as gentle as the wind blowing through the leaves,” you look like you’re lost

Pip blinked his black bean like eyes and said, ‘Aren’t you eating chicks?’

Felix smiled and his ears trembled slightly. “Oh, no, no, no. I just finished a big plate of mushroom soup and now I just want to find a friend to watch the stars with. And,” he pushed his acorn glasses, “my scarf is too tight and I need someone to tidy it up

Pip felt that this fox didn’t smell like a terrifying hunter, but rather like freshly baked bread. He walked over carefully and used his small beak to help Felix flatten the scarf.

Thank you, “Felix said,” in return, I’ll take you to a secret place

He made Pip jump onto his wide back. Felix ran like a gentle wind, through the silver moonlight, through the dozing rabbit hole, and finally stopped under a huge old oak tree.

The old oak tree’s hollow is covered with thick moss and dried flowers. Felix took out a small jar wrapped in leaves from inside.

This is Moonlight Honey, “he whispered,” I’ve been waiting for a lost friend for a long time

Pip took a sip, sweet and silky, as if he had swallowed the entire summer sunshine in his mouth.

They leaned against the tree roots, and Felix used his tail as a blanket for Pip. Fireflies flew over and drew small circles around them.

Felix, “Pip yawned slightly,” will you still come to play with me tomorrow

Of course, “the fox said softly,” I will bring a newly made grass scarf and freshly picked wild berries

Pip closed his eyes and listened to Felix’s steady breathing, like a small lullaby.

The moon quietly climbed up the treetops, covering the old oak tree with a silver blanket.

At the end of the Sunshine Valley, a little chicken and a fox fell asleep under the starlight.

Good night, little fluffy ball.

Good night, Big Tail.

Good night, all the children who are listening to the story.
